The Yolo County Line is a western swing band based in Los Angeles, California, and named for the Northern California county in which founding member and pedal steel player Max Hart grew up. In the tradition of classic country and western bands of a bygone era, the players are jazz musicians with a love for Bob Wills and Duke Ellington alike. The Yolo County Line’s members have played arenas and theaters the world over with national touring acts, but feel most at home playing for two stepping couples and lonely drunks at local honky tonks where good beer and good music flow.
